Billy Price plays for local team Meteors Hockey Club and has only just recently travelled to Victoria to compete at the National Schoolboys Hockey Championships.
There, Billy was part of the U12 Queensland Boys Hockey team who played against teams from all around the country and came away with 3 wins!
This year alone Billy has made it into and Captained the Capricornia Schoolboys Hockey team, the U12 Queensland Schoolboys Hockey team AND the U13 Queensland Hockey Team. At the 2019 U13 Boy’s State Championships held in Toowoomba, the Gladstone boys played in Division 2 and came out on top. Billy scored a massive 6 goals throughout the competition, was selected for the Queensland team and was named Best Player for the Tournament.
