Simple but challenging opening which is all about placing the tee shot, the hole measures only 316 metres however it’s protected by a large dog leg turn to the right. A creek runs along the entire right side of the hole and tall trees protect the green from those who dare to try and cut the corner of the dog leg.
Pro’s advice: Use a club that will get you close to the apex of the dog leg which will set you up for a nice 100m approach shot to the green.

This is the signature hole of the course with a dam in the middle of the fairway. Tee shot to the dam is 195 metres and to carry the dam is 225 metres. Lay up about 120 metres out and remember you are hitting to an elevated green surrounded by 4 bunkers at the front, left, right and back of the green. Front bunkers are the deepest on the course but try and stay out of the back bunker.
Pro’s advice: Trust your yardage from the tee and don’t lay up too short of the dam as it makes your next shot longer and harder.

This hole is quite straight and measures only 326 metres. The way to play this hole is not to over hit your first tee shot as we have out of bounds on the right.
Pro’s advice: Use the club that will get you close to 100m and that will set you up for a nice 100m approach shot to the green.

Looks like a straight forward Par 5 but with out of bounds on the right so if you have a slice, it can play harder. The green has a small bunker on the front and a large bunker on the right from the front of the green to back.
Pro’s advice: This should be played with 3 shots to the green. Lay-up to front of green and rely on good chip and putt.

This is our shortest hole of the course that measures only 120 metres but with out of bounds on the right and bunkers surrounding the green both left and right, play to the middle of the green and don’t be too greedy.
Pro’s advice: Use enough club to take the left bunker out of play and play for the heart of the green.

A shorter Par 4 but with out of bounds on the right and trees down the left. This hole has no bunkers around the green and looks quite simple but play it cautiously as the green is narrow, long and elevated.
Pro’s advice: Take a long iron, hybrid or fairway wood to the centre of the fairway to give yourself the best angle into the narrow green.

This hole has bunkers on the left and the right of the green. The green is wide and long.
Pro’s advice: Play to the heart of the green.

A short Par 4 at only 271 metres. A bunker protects errant drives just short of the green and a ridge running along the middle of the green provide several distinct areas for where the pin can be placed.
Pro’s advice: Driver is ok off the tee, just ensure you don’t short side yourself when accessing the pin for the approach shot.

No bunkers but a long Par 3 with an elevated green so don’t go long and play to front of the green.
Pro’s advice: Chip, Putt and move to next hole and don’t go over the back of the green as it makes for a difficult up and down.

Lovely dog leg Par 4 to the left. From the men’s tee just aim to the right of the bunkers (more room than it looks). Remember that the green is higher than you are down in the fairway.
Pro’s advice: Front of green has large swale and stay right of fairway bunker from tee shot.

Longest Par 3 on the course. Large bunkers left and right.
Pro’s advice: Play to the front of the green, two putts and go to the next hole.

Short Par 4 that measures only 315 metres.
Pro’s advice: Place your tee in the middle of the fairway and don’t try to ‘blast’ the drive to the green as it’s pretty tricky from either side of the fairway.

Short Par 4 that should be easy but with out of bounds to the left. As you approach the green you are confronted with a deep bunker at the front and a bunker to the left guarding the raised green.
Pro’s advice: A long iron, hybrid or fairway wood to the centre of the fairway provides the best opportunity for an approach shot into the green.

We need to respect this hole with the creek running down the entire left hand side. Play it in regulation with 3 shots to the green as there is a bunker on the left side and three deep bunkers on the right. This is also a long undulating green.
Pro’s advice: The tee shot requires a controlled fade to negotiate the dog leg, consider hitting a hybrid or fairway wood off the tee so you don’t run out of fairway and roll into the creek.

An uphill Par 3 with a bunker at the front of the green and a larger bunker guarding right side of the green. If the flag is at the back of the green play at least one more club than you would normally play.
Pro’s advice: Take enough club to cover the bunker on the left and be aware of the wind which can affect the carry distance as it travels over the ridge.

For the men this is the hardest hole on the course as it is a long dog leg to the left. The green is guarded by a large bunker that starts at the front and continues around the entire left side. Another bunker guards the right and the big palm tree just in front of the green needs to be avoided. This is the largest green on the course with a large swale in the middle. Ladies play this hole as a Par 5.
Pro’s advice: Keep your approach shot well away from the palm tree that guards the green, it has a reputation of stopping golf balls and leaving a tricky pitch shot into the green.

Tee shot requires you to hit out of a tunnel surrounded by trees. Green has deep bunkers on the right and front of the green.
Pro’s advice: Play the tee shot to the right side of the fairway for the best angle in, play the approach to the heart of the green.
Men’s Hole Rated: 5 | Ladies Hole Rated: 8
Dog Leg to the right. Aim just left of the fairway bunker. For the long hitters you can reach the green in two but look out for the very deep bunker at the front of the green and also the two large trees at the front of the green. For other golfers who need three shots to the green – lay up your second shot at the bottom of the hill (just over the creek) and you will have only a 80 metre pitch shot to the green.
Pro’s advice: Try and place a tee shot to the flat part of the fairway which is the best way to negotiate a second shot over the creek or an attempt at the green.
