kane is excelling at a state level for both swimming and surf lifesaving.
At the McDonalds Queensland Short Course Championships he has placed 3rd in the 100 m Individual Medley, 200 m Backstroke and 100 m Backstroke. Then at the RMHC Queensland Sprint Championships he was able to come away with a 3rd again in the 50 m Backstroke. For anyone that has competed in swimming before, you will know that this is such a great achievement in a very tough sport.
Kane was at the 2019 QLD Youth Championships for Surf Lifesaving and competed as an individual and in the Tannum Sands SLSC Team A with Taj Andrews, Kai Devine and previous Yaralla Junior Sports Star Brady Blake. In the team events, the boys placed 2nd in the Cameron Relay and Board Relay and in the individual events Kane place 2nd in the Surf Race (swim) and made it into the Grand Final in the Ironman.
